Infinity Festival Hollywood is the place where Hollywood meets Silicon Valley. The festival, a multi-day annual event held in Los Angeles, celebrates “Story Enabled by Technology,” bringing together Hollywood’s finest storytelling talent with the innovative creators of Silicon Valley’s cutting-edge technology. The event began in 2018 in Beverly Hills, where the Paley Center served as the festival hub, with screenings and special events held in various theaters and locations around the area. The festival gained momentum, and in 2019 moved into the heart of Hollywood at Goya Studios and the Dream Hotel, as well as the Dolby Theater and other Hollywood venues.
Although we weren’t able to plan a live event due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, interest in the festival hadn’t waned, and so the festival team transformed IF 2020 into an all-virtual event. Our production partner, FNtech, created a proprietary virtual platform, which gave us an arena to continue the festival with 8 weeks of original programming and reach a broader audience. Beginning in October 2020 and continuing through January 2021, the festival successfully broadcast over 60 hours of original programming, continuing our original goal of bringing together creators, directors, producers and writers, as well as senior executives and technologists. We also partnered with iconic recording label Capitol Music Group to feature Capitol Royale, which brought a unique slate of music related programming to the 2020 festival.
For 2021, the Infinity Festival brought together the best of both worlds – in-person and virtual events – in one fantastic hybrid experience. The event was held at Goya Studios and the Dream Hotel, in the heart of Hollywood’s vinyl district; the online portion was held via a custom-built virtual platform created and produced by FNTECH. We continued our theme of “story enabled by technology” with an entirely new slate of innovative programming, including industry-leading speakers, panel discussions, an exhibition hall, innovation labs, a fine art gallery and more, each with an emerging-tech focus.
We are currently planning our 5th year with an all-new festival in November 2022. See you there!

Texas Immersive Institute’s mission imagines the unknown into existence and helps our community live at the intersection of culture and commerce where consumers engage through digital, physical, and voice environments. We research, design, and build projects with emerging technologies that will help artists, scientists and humanists use storytelling to share solutions to big problems that are responsive, responsible, and remarkable. We'll be showcasing a variety of projects including Be a Longhorn, an 8th Wall AR experience to reimagine the campus visit for digital-first prospective students (currently a finalist for the 2021 AWE Indie Creator award); Solar Run, harnessing games, and AR to promote sun protection and skin cancer awareness and Eyes on the Sky, a mixed reality experience designed to bring awareness and educate the public on space environmentalism.

Gain Productions Inc. will be exhibiting "Mindful VR.” The experience allows users to witness life through the eyes of a young girl named Ana. The story is told through glimpses of her life, narration, and a portal device that takes you into three different memories: A sentimental return to her childhood, the horrors of war; and the unknown future of retreat.
Un/Seen is a live performance on a social VR immersive web domain. It is built on the Immers.Space webXR platform. The public can login and interact with Tiffany Trenda in real time while she is broadcasting live from her studio. During the performance, the artist reacts to guest conversations, emojis, and chats. The work is a collaboration with artist Tiffany Trenda, dulce303, and composer Joseph Bishara. It was commissioned by DIVERSEartLA.
